BOSTON – The Massachusetts Department of Energy and Environmental Affairs honored 27 schools statewide with Excellence in Energy and Environmental Education awards, and a number of local schools and students were recognized for their efforts.

This spring, the Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical School (UCT) is eyeing the future with two progressive projects. One is the installation of a new energy-producing solar canopy; the other is the addition of a new information technology building.
