After school hours are available for students and their parents who need assistance with college and scholarship application completion. Appointments are required. Upper Cape Tech has articulated agreements with Cape Cod Community College (4Cs), Bristol Community College (BCC), and New England Institute of Technology (NEIT).
Colleges work with high school instructors to determine that a course or sequence of courses at the high school level is equal to the material included in a particular course at the institution of higher learning. Students who maintain a B or better in the high school course or courses will be eligible for the college credit upon enrollment at that college.
The following chart outlines the UCT programs that are currently involved in articulations. This list grows all the time, and the chart is adjusted to reflect newly articulated programs.

UCT also articulates the college prep Business Management course with Cape Cod Community College and New England Institute of Technology.
College admissions representatives visit Upper Cape Tech throughout the school year to speak with interested juniors and seniors. This is a great opportunity to learn more about a particular college and to meet someone who will often be involved in reading your application if you decide to apply. Visits usually last about one-half hour. You must sign up in

Petersons is another online college search resource. This site is especially useful for UCT students because of its section specifically devoted to career colleges.

Career Voyages alllows students to investigate specific careers and industries. It includes labor trends and wage information, nationally and here in Massachusetts. Additionally, the site provides links to colleges and technical schools offering programs and degrees in specific fields.

Test Prep Review offers free practice for many tests, including the SAT, ACT, ASVAB, and Accuplacer. This is a great opportunity to prepare for tests and familrize yourself so you are more comfortable when the time comes to take the test. |
Strategies for College Testing Strategies for College Testing is a Q&A site that will answer basic questions about PSATs, SATs, etc. Look here first, and then double check with your guidance counselor. |
New England Board of Higher Education New England Board of Higher Education offers the Regional Student Program (http://www.nebhe.org/tuition_assistance.html) (RSP), which provides New England residents with major tuition savings at out-of-state public colleges and universities within New England. |

The Common Application is one application that is accepted by over 250 colleges. Using the Common App, students can complete their application once, and copy it and send it to many colleges. Students can also apply online using the Common App. |

Dedicated to four-year and two-year colleges, this site allows students to get a list of U.S. colleges and universities either in alphabetical order or by state. The list provides direct links to each college or university website.
