Saltworks Integration Project

When the Bourne Historical Society requested that Upper Cape Tech's Construction Cluster build a working replica of an 18th century saltworks, we immediately recognized the potential for academic and vocational integration. Science, Math, Computer Aided Drafting, English, and History could be integrated with the construction trades. Lessons, with demonstrations, could be presented in the classrooms, labs, or on the jobsite.
