Technology Standards |
These standards were developed to support and advance Massachusetts's
educational reform in learning and teaching. This document was
created and revised by teachers, administrators, and other educators
in prekindergarten through grade 12, in collaboration with staff
from the Massachusetts Department of Education. The standards
were approved by the Massachusetts Board of Education on October
23, 2001. |

DOE Educational Technology Benchmarks |
These guidelines are not mandated but rather recommended benchmarks
1 for districts to meet by the end of the school year 2006 to
2007. The Department will use these guidelines to gauge the
progress of districts' implementation in order to approve their
technology plans annually. |
| Technology
Self- Assessment Tool (TSAT) |
TSAT allows teachers to determine their own levels of technology
proficiency and professional development needs. TSAT also allows
schools and districts to access aggregated data from their teachers
in order to better focus their professional development efforts.
