College and Career Planning

Articulation Agreements

Upper Cape Tech has articulated agreements with Cape Cod Community College (4Cs), Bristol Community College (BCC), and New England Institute of Technology (NEIT).

Colleges work with high school instructors to determine that a course or sequence of courses at the high school level is equal to the material included in a particular course at the institution of higher learning. Students who maintain a B or better in the high school course or courses will be eligible for the college credit upon enrollment at that college.

The following chart outlines the UCT programs that are currently involved in articulations. This list grows all the time, and the chart is adjusted to reflect newly articulated programs.

The College Connection Program

The College Connection Program (CCP) provides equal access and opportunity for all participating students, reduces educational barriers by offering enrollment management services and academic resources onsite at UCT and aims to raise individual awareness and expectations about college options.

College Visits

College admissions representatives visit Upper Cape Tech throughout the school year to speak with interested juniors and seniors. This is a great opportunity to learn more about a particular college and to meet someone who will often be involved in reading your application if you decide to apply.

Visits usually last about one-half hour. You must sign up in Student Services in advance to attend a college representative visit. This list will be updated regularly, so check back often!
