The electrical program prepares young men and women to install
state-of-the-art electrical equipment for light, heat, power,
data and telecommunications in commercial, industrial and residential
buildings in accordance with applicable electrical codes. Instruction
involves shop simulations, laboratory experiments, new installations
and maintenance.

Career Highlights
This program offers 2,200 of the 8,000 practical
work hours required by Massachusetts to become eligible for
the state licensing examination for electricians. Students
are also prepared to attend a wide variety of two or four year
colleges that offer training as an electrical technician or
an electrical engineer.
