Mission Statement The mission of the Edgar E. Caron Library at Upper Cape Tech is to support the educational, cultural, recreational, and technical information needs of the entire school community and the community at large in an easily accessible manner Philosophy The Edgar E. Caron Library is committed to being the primary information center for the school community and a regional information facility serving the community at large.  Print, non-print, and advanced technological  resources will be selected and maintained to enhance our educational, cultural, and recreational programs, our commitment to public service, and to promote a synergetic atmosphere for learning. A comprehensive and diverse collection will be offered to sustain students in their pursuit to stretch their intellects, to develop intuitive judgment in evaluating information, and nourish a lasting lifelong love of learning..  Multiform resources appealing to a wide variety of learning styles and abilities will be maintained to provide students with opportunities to become informed decision makers and develop communication skills necessary to effectively compete in the global market and function in an ever changing technological society.
