with technical knowledge and experience in the rapidly expanding
marine industry. Technical concepts in the curriculum

Diesel Engines
- Two and Four-Stroke Cycle Engines
- Diagnosis, Repair and Overhaul of Marine
Propulsion Systems
- Marine Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
- Electronic Ignition Systems
- Coast Guard and American Boat Yacht Council
Regulations
- Power Tools, Gas and Arc Welding Equipment
- Use of Precision Measuring Instruments
- Installation and Repair of On-Board Support
Systems, Electrical, Hydraulic, Water, Steering, and Electronics
- Techniques of Fiberglass and Wood Hull
Repair
- Customer Relations
A large, well equipped shop features the latest
tools, shop demonstrators, updated ventilation and state-of-the-art
prep station for fiberglass repair. There is also a
heavy duty hydraulic trailer, a Kubota tow vehicle, lifting
and support equipment, and a separate three-bay garage for
boats awaiting repair.
