Rose M. Merritt Memorial Garden

Our memorial garden was re-dedicated on October 19, 2009. Rose M. Merritt, a Town of Bourne educator, skillfully served on the Upper Cape Tech School Committee for many years. Her dedication to our school is thankfully remembered.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must have been part of our school community at the time of death.
  • Inclusion of all who have died since the school's opening in 1969.
  • No memorial stone will be added to the garden until the first anniversary of the passing.
  • Student stones will include name and area of study at UCT, and will require parental consent.
  • If there is no known living relative, a name may be included at the request of a community member at the discretion of the Superintendent.
