- This past Sunday afternoon in Rochester, the Boys’ Varsity Soccer team were defeated, 3-1, at Old Colony Tech in the first round of the MIAA Division 4 State Tournament. Jon Churchill, who was named UCT Player of the Game, scored with eight minutes left to play, cutting the deficit in half.
- The JV Football team lost a hard fought game to Monomoy High School 8-6 yesterday. Ben Rowe led the way defensively for the Rams, while Shawn DiCarlo and Cameron Smith played strong on offense. Great effort Gentlemen.
Today, UCT welcomes a representative from Bryant University. Tommorow, the University of Maine will visit UCT, and on Thursday, Southern Vermont College. Seniors and juniors interested in meeting with these representatives can sign up in the Guidance office or on the Guidance Office website.
On Thursday, November 8th, UCT will host FAFSA Day from 6-8 p.m. Financial Aid Professionals will be onsite to assist families. Advanced registration is strongly encouraged. Please visit the FAFSA website www.FAFSADay.org. This event is open to all area high school seniors and their parents/guardians.
There will be a meeting for all students interested in joining the Drama Club. The drama club will once again be participating in the state drama festival and will be doing a musical this year. If this interests you, please join us on Thursday, November 8th at 2:30 p.m. at the stage in the cafeteria. All are welcome. There are opportunities for acting, tech crew, and stage management.
