Results:

  • Last night the Varsity Lady Rams traveled to Blue Hills but lost 58-28. Hailey Wilcox led the Rams with 14. Lacey Butland had 7, Makenna Vary had 3, and Paige Bourgault, Nicaeyla Pires, Clare Wurlitzer, and Faith Ball-Roemer each had 1.
  • The JV Lady Rams also played at Blue Hills but lost a real close game 25-32. The Lady Rams were led by Calii Smith scored 8 points, Zoe Jackson-Laro with 6 points, Danielle Ansell 5, Arianna Miranda 4, and Ashley Perry with 2 points. Contributing on both ends of court were Essence Mahoney and Emily Nicholas along with teammates Nicole Coyle and Riley Glass. It was a great team effort.
  • The Boys’ JV Basketball team lost to Blue Hills last night 48-29. The boys played a tough first half going into half-time 26-15. But Blue Hills controlled the pace with their press. Jonathan Brightman scored 6 points and Blake Martin 5. A big game tomorrow against Old  Colony. We are looking for the win.

UCT Athletic Association

The UCT Athletic Association will be selling both pizza and UCT spirit wear at the Boys’ Basketball game tomorrow.

Biology MCAS Tutoring

Every Tuesday and Thursday for the next 4 weeks, students needing biology MCAS tutoring, should report to Room 124 after school.

ASVAB Exam

The ASVAB exam will be administered on Wednesday, January 16th. The ASVAB is required to enlist in the military. Juniors and Seniors interested in joining the military are encouraged to take the exam. There is no cost and no obligation to enlist. Please sign up in the Guidance Office and see Mrs. Kerrigan if you have any questions.

2019 Yearbooks

If anyone wants their name on their yearbook, you need to order by January 18th. Also, if you would like your baby picture in the year book, they are due by February vacation.

College Opportunities

Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors interested in free college courses at Mass Maritime can pick up an application in the Guidance Office. The choices are Current Environmental Problems and Intro to Emergency Management to be held on Mondays from 4-7 p.m. And, an English Composition class on Tuesdays from 4-7 p.m. Classes will begin in March.

Pathway Reminder

A reminder to students about Term 1 Pathways: Please visit the Dean of Student’s Office to see if you have Pathway hours. You will have until January 18th to complete your obligations.
